KEMAI doctoral student Nina Parchmann and PI Prof. Dr. Florian Steger (Institute of the History, Philosophy and Ethics of Medicine) presented their talk “Ethical Aspects of Medical AI Systems: Opportunities and Challenges of AI in Diagnostics” at the international workshop “AI in Medicine and beyond” in Leipzig on December 12, 2025.
The event took place at the Sächsische Akademie der Wissenschaften zu Leipzig (SAW) as part of the bilateral cooperation project “Technologische Innovation und Fortschritt in der Medizin. Die Notwendigkeit eines ethischen Rahmens und die Bedeutung europäischer Werte.” with the Czech Academy of Sciences (CAS). The project is led by Prof. Dr. Florian Steger.
