The KEMAI Spring School is targeted towards Master students and early PhD Students, with basic knowledge in the field of artificial intelligence, who want to deepen their understanding of the application of modern artificial intelligence methods in a medical context. In particular, we invite students who are interested in pursuing an academic career related to the topics addressed by this spring school.

Moreover, we especially encourage female students to join us!

The first day, 28 February 2022, is designed to introduce and reflect on the challenges of female academic researchers in medical AI. The women-only program on that day includes a dedicated keynote speech, a panel discussion of female researchers from all academic career levels. The intention is to provide the next generation of female researchers in medical AI, a safe space to meet researchers of Ulm University who are involved in knowledge infusion and extraction for explainable medical artificial intelligence.
